Accomplishments:

• My school allowed me the incredible opportunity last fall to travel to Australia and do a collaborative Instagram photography project with my art students and the students at Maranatha Christian Academy in Melbourne. Students exchanged images that reveal life and culture while inspiring an appreciation of art and photography.  Through the creation and exchange of digital images on Instagram, students were given an opportunity to connect and vicariously experience a life half a world away. You can see documentation of this project at the end of my teaching video

•My dance students put on a collaborative community event with the school Jazz Band this past year. It was a Valentines swing dance and dinner show. The Jazz band played and my students performed some swing dance numbers. Then the community was given the opportunity to learn how to dance.

•My classes have been involved in creating the sets and props for our community theater productions the past three years for The Wizard of Oz , Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, and Seussical the Musical.
